Strengths: Fantastic! You can hold it lightly and that difference in the orientation of the wrist so that the thumb is up rather than to the side, makes an incredible difference to my wrist and forearm.

Weakness: I was using a rollerball, so I had to get used again to moving the device around like a mouse to position the cursor. No extra utility available yet for XP (very dumb) but it works fine w/out that.

Strengths: All of the well-documented ergonomic features. It really is the best mouse design.

Weakness: Manufacturing quality is not great. No mouse ball option.

I have used three of these ergo mice at different work and home locations. While I find the design to be a great improvement over any other pointer product, I am disappointed with the manufacturing quality and the apparent decision to go optical and drop the ball, so to speak. Strengths: innovative design

Weakness: price

for anyone diagonised with carpal tunnel syndrome, this 3M vertical mouse definitely helps in a number of ways. Because of the vertical design, there is minimum stress imposed on your wrist when moving the cursor. The only downside for this product is its price. I'd say the manufacturing cost is less than one fifth of what is being sold for.
